The SINAMICS power unit together with the suitable CU230P-2 control unit and an IOP/IOP-2 (Intelligent Operator Panel) or BOP-2 (Basic Operator Panel) operator panel makes up the functional SINAMICS G120P frequency converter. The PM230 (degree of protection IP20) is a built-in device for installation in electrical cabinets and only generates low line harmonics and apparent power losses. In addition to the energy-related advantages, there is also less environmental stress. The PM230 Power Module (degree of protection IP 20) supplies motors in a power range extending from 0.37 kW up to 75 kW. Frame sizes FSA up to FSF of the PM230 Power Module, in degree of protection IP 20 as well as push-through versions are available with an integrated Class A line filter for installations according to Category C2 according to EN 61800-3 or without integrated line filter.
